Namco Bandai has published a very ominous, sorrowful, and of course – soul crushing trailer for Dark Souls II. The new trailer, dubbed simply “Curse,” shows off some exposition for the core story in Dark Souls II, namely the ruined kingdom and the horrible monsters that will consistently try to end your journey at every turn.

Interesting enough, the game has been revealed to be have received a T rating, in comparison Demon’s Souls and Dark Souls both had M ratings for their violence and (in the case of Dark Souls) partial nudity. Could this mean we’ll see a less grim and or bloody experience in Dark Souls II? Probably not, but it could mean the female monster designs are more tame.
Dark Souls II is getting an awesome collector’s edition in both Japan, Europe and America, although I still think Japan’s set is the one that takes the cake. Dark Souls II is launching on March 11th in the Americas, March 13th in Japan and March 14th in Europe for both Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.
