Our resident veteran RPG nut Carl is easily a fan of this – someone has created a Twitter bot that serves up random clusters of inventory items to people who tweet the letter “i” or the word “inventory” to @YouAreCarrying.
The creator of the bot, Andrew Vestal of Seattle, has compiled an entire database of items from all of the Infocom classics like Zork, Planetfall, and even The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.
Here’s what we got:
@thenichegamer a depleted matchbook, a Patrol uniform, a blue book, a roll of color film, a granola cluster, a shredded scroll.

The account seems to have been up for only a few weeks, and fans are quickly creating mock ups for what they got in their batch of inventory items, like the above image.
