On a recent Tweet/X post, company owner Elon Musk has proclaimed that blocking other users will no longer be a feature.

The announcement was very brief as per Musk’s notable updates, and we are still unsure on how set in stone it is, but you can read it below:

The block feature completely walls off users from interacting with each other or viewing each others posts, and some users have massive block lists to avoid engaging with people they dislike.

Musk has said nothing about removing the mute feature or protected posts, so far.
