• You Can Use The Original Starters in Pokemon X & Y

    Nintendo has revealed some more info for Pokemon X & Y with their Nintendo Direct that was published today.

    Traditionally in Pokemon, you recieve your starter Pokemon from the professor in the game. This is not the case in Pokemon X and Y, where you’ll get your starter Pokemon from one of your friends. Your choice of starters are: Chespin, Fennekin and Froakie.

    In case those starters are too weird and new for you, you also get to choose from one of the original starters from Pokemon Red & Blue, via Professor Sycamore, the new professor in Pokemon X & Y.

    This means you can also choose to use Bulbasaur, Charmander or Squirtle as your starter in X & Y. All three of the original starters all have their own mega evolutions as well.
