Bethesda Softworks and developer Tango Gameworks have annnounced during QuakeCon at Home that you can pet all the dogs in Ghostwire: Tokyo.
The announcement came from Tango Gameworks’ executive producer Shinji Mikami. Mikami also thanked fans for the positive reaction to the game’s debut gameplay trailer.
The announcement and feature may have been inspired by the Twitter account Can You Pet The Dog?, an account dedicated to chronicling what video games players can pet dogs in (or dog equivalents). The account stands at over 430,000 follows. Then again, due to the game’s horror nature, dog petting may be a way for players to relax.
