Yoshi’s Woolly World Coming This Autumn, with Amiibo Made of Yarn

Nintendo have announced that Yoshi’s Woolly World will be coming to the Wii U this autumn, and that a set of amigurumi amiibo figures in the same style as the game, available in green, pink, and blue, will launch alongside it.

Yoshi’s Woolly World is an action-adventure game that has two difficulty modes, “Classic” and “Mellow”, between which players can switch at any time. Mellow Mode equips Yoshi with wings, making the game much easier than Yoshi titles are traditionally. The yarn Yoshi amiibo will grant a second Yoshi in singleplayer games, which will enable players to play the game much like they would in the co-op mode.
