Yoshinori Ono Teases Nintendo vs. Capcom, It’s His “Dream Project”

We’ve learned that despite having his hands busy with Street Fighter V, Capcom producer Yoshinori Ono is still vying for dream pet projects to work on at the developer.

StreetPass UK bumped into Ono at a local game store and posed the question of another crossover fighting game in the vein of Street Fighter X Tekken, Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, and even Capcom vs. SNK.

Ono said he’d love to do a “Nintendo vs. Capcom” game some day, saying that it’s his “dream project.”

Ono made a note in saying that he doesn’t want the game to pull too heavily from Street Fighter, he’d like to include more of a variety from Capcom, making us think it would be more akin to Super Smash Bros. in terms of what to expect from the roster, but with more of a dash from Capcom’s repertoire.
