Developer Parallel Creates has announced Yggdra Kingdom, a new action-adventure game with cute and nostalgic anime designs.

Yggdra Kingdom is in development for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 and will launch on November 27th in Japan in both standard and limited editions. The latter includes a tapestry of the main heroine in a bikini.

The game is being made by the newly formed Parallel Creates, with illustrations by veteran artist Hiro Suzuhira. The game’s theme song, “Faith ~The Power of Belief~”, as performed by KOTOKO, was also revealed.

It’s worth noting the game has no connection to the Sting-developed games Yggdra Union or Yggdra Unison, which fall under their “Dept. Heaven” series, which consisted of four games.

Story

Nagai Towa is on a school trip to London when he gets lost in the city at night. He somehow makes it to the station, where he finds a mysterious egg in the dark station hall. “What is this egg? It’s so beautiful…” Just then, the egg shatters with a loud crack right before his eyes. His consciousness fades. When he wakes up, he finds himself in a completely different world. It was a world that retained the semblance of London yet was entirely different.

The royal capital of Salem.

He meets a girl named Sherry Reinstad, who is searching for her father, accused of regicide. To return to his original world, and to become a force for the girl who helped him, he continues to fight clad in armor Clarias, drawing closer to the truth hidden within the world.

Features

• Story – The story unfolds in a classic ADV system that is easy to enjoy. The tale revolves around the protagonist, Nagaha, who is forced into a life in another world against his will, and the ups and downs of the story unfold.
• Volume selection – Unlike normal options, this is a special option that allows you to specify the “loudness” in detail. The contents vary, from how loud you should raise your voice to how hard you should press during the massage. If you make it too extreme, there is a risk that the character will break!
• Location selection – Amidst the hectic life in another world, you can find a moment of calm. Meet the heroines in the royal capital, Salem, and enjoy the ordinary everyday life. At night, you will be able to meet other unusual characters besides the heroines.
• Vigilante activities – In the royal capital, vigilante groups are active to protect the peace of the city. If you go to the station, you can accept requests for vigilante activities. If you solve the problem, you may receive a reward.
