Yandere Simulator is a game where you – as you expected, plot your very own yandere-styled violence in a high school environment.

The game has been in development for about a year now, and it has already seen quite a few updates since its development has gone fully public. The latest update to the game (featured above in the new gameplay video) adds gossiping, bullying, and friendship mechanics to the game.

The goal of Yandere Simulator is to win the affections of Senpai (the literal name of the person whose affections you’re to win) in game. To do this, you have to stalk this person and secretly murder any other girl that might be into them – whether your senpai is male or female.

As you progress through carrying out murder, your sanity levels will drop (this is a penalty). The less sane you are, the more crazy you naturally look, meaning people will deliberately avoid you. This includes your senpai, meaning you’ll fail in winning over their heart.
