Even though we’ve been covering everything about Yakuza: Restoration, the platform it will appear on has still not been announced. However, it seems like our speculation should be ending soon.

Yakuza creator Toshihiro Nagoshi has confirmed in a nico nico live stream that the platform for Yakuza Restoration will be confirmed before the annual Tokyo Game Show, which takes place towards the latter part of September.

Nagoshi did say that Yakuza 5 will be the last Yakuza game on Playstation 3, the platform that the series has made a comfortable home of in the past several years – meaning Restoration is probably a Playstation 4 game.
