• Yakuza 7 Announced, Launches 2020 Worldwide

    Sega has announced Yakuza 7.

    The new game is the fully revealed new Yakuza game starring new protagonist Ichiban Kasuga. The full title is loosely translated to Yakuza 7: Whereabouts of Light and Darkness.

    The setting of the game is Yokohama, and is a background story of sorts for Kasuga. Featured above, you can view the announcement trailer for the game.


    Kasuga apparently loves Dragon Quest. Sega literally got permission from Dragon Quest creator Yuji Horii to mention the game by name.

    The new game has been in development for PlayStation 4, and also has a female co-star, played by Eri Kamataki.

    The game was also confirmed for a January 16th release in Japan, alongside a 2020 release in the west.
