XIII Remake Launches November 10 for PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One

XIII

Microids and developer PlayMagic have announced the release date for the remake of XIII during IGN’s Summer of Gaming.

As stated in IGN’s coverage, the remake of the 2003 Ubisoft first person shooter is keeping its cel-shaded look, while having (in IGN’s words) “more textural environments.” The soundtrack and dialogue have been remastered, with main character XIII played by David Duchovny (X-Files).

The game’s plot centers around XIII, a man stricken with amnesia and accused of killing the President of the United States. Now he must travel across 34 levels, with 15 weapons to find the answer. The game will also support multiplayer.

Pre-ordering the game will earn you a golden knife and pistol skins, while the Limited Edition will come with a metal case, 3 art cards, and the Golden XIII Weapons skin-pack.

You can find the official gameplay trailer below.

You can find the full rundown (via Steam) below.

The video game XIII is back in a remake.

XIII is a First Person Shooter where you play as «Thirteen», a talented soldier who lost his memory and has been accused of killing the President of the United States. You first wake up injured and amnesic on Brighton Beach with the only clue being a small key and a mysterious tattoo « XIII » next to your clavicle. It’s now your job to search for answers through a 34 levels solo campaign. Don’t worry, you will find the appropriate weapon arsenal along the way. With questions not missing, neither are the bullets!

XIII (2020) launches November 10th for Windows PC, Mac (both via Steam), Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
