Gambitious Digital Entertainment has announced a new version of Renegade Kid’s Xeodrifter, originally launched for the 3DS, for Playstation 4, PS Vita, PC, and Xbox One.
Featured above, you can view the debut trailer for the new version, dubbed simply Xeodrifter: Special Edition. The game will come with an insightful developer diary, going over the entire production of the game. Fans and newcomers alike will also get the entire game’s soundtrack bundled with the new release.
“Working with the Gambitious team to bring Xeodrifter to a wider audience on PC and home console is something we’re extremely excited about,” said Renegade Kid cofounder and Creative Director, Jools Watsham. “Xeodrifter: Special Edition is a great way for players to get their hands on the game, the awesome OST, and a detailed behindthescenes look at how a few friends managed to cobble together a great game!’
Xeodrifter is also going to be on display at PAX East this March 6th and 8th, at Gambitous’ booth (7179). Finally, the tentative release date for the new release across PC (via Steam), Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita will be some time this spring.
