Monolith Soft continue to release new information (via the game’s official website) for their upcoming open-world RPG, Xenoblade Chronicles X. We’ve rounded the details up below.
Other than these updates, a new song from the game’s soundtrack was recently released, gameplay was detailed in the latest livestream, and some character concept art has been revealed. There’s plenty more about XCX, too, in the archives.

Xenoblade Chronicles X is due out on the Wii U in Japan on April 29, and will be arriving in the West later this year.

Diverse Extraterrestrials
Aside from humans, there are various intelligent life-forms on the planet of Mira. These sentient beings include:
The Nopon: these native dumplings of Mira lead merchant caravans.
The Ma Non: peaceful aliens who have advanced technology.
The Vyers: a hostile group of aliens who are antagonistic toward humans.
Creatures living on Mira
Monolith Soft have recently listed some of the creatures available near New Los Angeles, the new city our stranded cast build after crash landing on Mira. They include:
Brass Femina Zeus: resembles a wild boar with a large lump on its head. Coloration and hair differ between the male and female.
Stone Hippo: sharp fangs protrude from its lower jaw. Placid creatures, they lay motionless around watering holes.
Wood Fontera: 6-metre tall herbivores, who can eat the leaves on trees thanks to their giraffe-like necks.
Everlasting Milesaur: these gigantic creatures are calm beings, and are not aggressive towards people.
Lake Lutra: these waterside dwellers resemble who resemble dogs and cats turn their heads upwards and purr.
Quick Strutt: these bird-like creatures cannot fly, despite having wings. They gather in flocks, and peck at the ground for bugs.
Junior Simius: these ape-like creatures with four arms and two legs mainly travel in groups, and stay near their larger parents.
Young Lupus: ferocious carnivores who prey upon other creatures, they will assault humans on sight.
Docile Owis: small herbivores with pom-poms for tails. They are found in dark green prairies, as they prefer leafy sprouts.
Young Vasalt: giant insect-like creatures with six legs, their forelegs are shaped like sickles, which they use to burrow underground.
Welkin Lukiora: gargantuan flying creatures who float through the skies, patrolling their territory.
