Microsoft has announced more price increases for Xbox Series X and S consoles in the United States.
The new price increases will see the Xbox Series S raise its price by $20 and the Xbox Series X will raise its price by $50. Controllers and headsets won’t have their prices increased.
Microsoft is saying (via The Verge) the new prices are due to “changes in the macroeconomic environment,” which many agree is over the new tariffs in the USA.
Here’s the new prices for the Xbox Series S and X consoles:
Product | New US price: | Previous US price: |
Xbox Series S (512GB) | $399.99 | $379.99 |
Xbox Series S (1TB) | $449.99 | $429.99 |
Xbox Series X | $649.99 | $599.99 |
Xbox Series X Digital | $599.99 | $549.99 |
Xbox Series X 2TB Galaxy Black Special Edition | $799.99 | $729.99 |
