Microsoft has announced a new Xbox controller with an exclusive Fallout Pip-Boy theming.

The new controller is available both as a standalone device, and as part of new customization options via the “Xbox Design Lab” where players can customize their own controller down to the color of the buttons.

The standalone controller features a bright green D-pad and backplate making it look a little radioactive.

Vault Dwellers have few options at their disposal to survive against the post nuclear landscape, but thankfully Vault-Tec has provided one S.P.E.C.I.A.L. tool, the Pip-Boy! While the first Fallout designed controllers were focused on Vault Boy and all his different incarnations, we wanted Fallout fans to be able to gear up with the same tech that their characters use. The Xbox controller designs replicate that warm green hue that emits from your own personal Pip-Boy, with instantly recognizable game HUD icons to match.

Fallout is on everyone’s minds right now as the second season of the live-action series is about to premiere. Meanwhile it’s a coin toss whether we’ll get Fallout 5 before The Elder Scrolls 6 (though to be honest we’ll probably get another Skyrim release before then too).
