Microsoft has announced that Xbox One has been the top eighth-generation console as far as sales go in the United States, following its temporary price cut two weeks ago.
“As we head into the busy holiday season Xbox One led generation 8 console sales in the US for the past two weeks,” says Microsoft’s devices and studios chief Yusuf Mehdi.
The price cut is running only until January 3rd, lowering the console’s price from $399 to $349, and this also includes all of the various hardware bundles out there.
Finally, Microsoft confirmed that over 10 million Xbox One consoles have been shipped to retailers worldwide.
