Microsoft has slashed the price of the Xbox One in the United Kingdom to £329.99, lowering the price to below that of the Playstation 4.
This is the first time the console’s price is more affordable than the competition, and you can order the unit here via the Microsoft Store. This is the third price cut the system has received in ten months, considering it launched at £429.99, only to be reduced to £349.99, the latter of which is what a Playstation 4 costs in the region.
£329.99 is the price for just the console with no Kinect and no games, but this isn’t stopping retailers from matching the price.
It’s not shocking to see Microsoft getting aggressive with their pricing, considering the Playstation 4 has been dominating the hardware sales as of late.
