Following the Hitman III season two content getting detailed, IO Interactive announced Xbox Game Pass adds Hitman Trilogy in January 2022.
While Xbox Game Pass adds Hitman Trilogy on January 20th, 2022, the new re-release of all three Hitman games will be available for Game Pass on PC and Xbox consoles.
The new Hitman Trilogy includes all three World of Assassination games:
- Hitman (2016) – released for Windows PC, Linux, Mac, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Stadia
- Hitman II (2018) – released for Windows PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Stadia
- Hitman III – released for Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Stadia
The new Hitman Trilogy will also be released as a standalone digital purchase across Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 on the same day, January 20th. This is also when Hitman III will be finally released on Steam, as the game’s Epic Games Store exclusivity period has ended.
Lastly, it’s worth pointing out that Hitman III is coming to another new platform on the same day – PC virtual reality. The game’s VR mode will finally be available for Windows PC users, as it was previously only available for PlayStation VR owners. Now, users on Steam or the Epic Games Store will be able to check out all three games in VR on the various PC devices, which IO is saying they support “the most popular hardware to deliver the best experience to as many players as possible.”
