Microsoft has announced Xbox FPS Boost adds 74 more games today with a number of big titles like Yakuza 6: The Song of Life, Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition, and more.

As Xbox FPS Boost adds 74 more games, the number is quite staggering compared to the previous batch, which only added around a dozen new titles. The new games feature double or in some cases even quadruple their original framerates, giving Xbox Series X+S owners a much better visual experience.

Xbox FPS Boost was originally launched back in February of this year, and has been added to more games as well, including a bunch of Bethesda developed and published games like Fallout 76, Prey, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and even Ubisoft games like Watch Dogs 2, Far Cry 4, and Rebellion’s Sniper Elite 4.

As previously announced, Microsoft has been going through both Xbox One and older Xbox titles and offering the game a performance boost, whether its enhanced visuals, auto HDR, and most notably improved FPS. Not all games have FPS Boost on by default, however, as with a few boosted FPS negatively affects their resolution – thus the resolution must be lowered to compensate.

In related news, Microsoft announced the Games With Gold lineup for May 2021 coming to Xbox Live Gold subscribers, which includes games Armello, Dungeons 3, Lego Batman, and Tropico 4.
