Blizzard Entertainment shared a new cinematic trailer for World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King Classic ahead of its big re-release next week.
The new trailer was made by none-other than superfan Hurricane, who made the very excellent fan trailer for The Burning Crusade Classic. Blizzard apparently liked the trailer so much they gave him the greenlight to make an official trailer for Wrath of the Lich King Classic.
As this is a fan-made trailer, none of the footage was captured in-game and Hurricane likely used the same method from their Burning Crusade / Black Temple trailer. Previously, the trailer was made entirely in Cinema 4D and took roughly 10 months of work via meticulous exporting of game assets, and Jeromnimo’s WoW Model Viewer.
Here’s the new trailer:
World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King Classic is launching worldwide on September 26th for Windows PC and Mac (via Battle.net).
