KillPixel have announced the release date of Wrath: Aeon of Ruin from early access, along with a limited Founders Edition of the game.
As stated in the press release (via Games Press), the game entered Early Access in November 2019. Inspired by shooters from the ’90s, Wrath: Aeon of Ruin promises to be an authentic retro-FPS experience. The game is even powered by the same engine used to make the original Quake, which is also cited as one of its primary inspirations.
To celebrate the impending release date, a Founders Edition was announced. This physical version of the game comes on a CD in a big box that also includes an art book, soundtrack, five metal figurines of the game’s enemies, reversible poster, stickers, and a branded USB drive that includes exclusive digital content. The set is limited to 500 copies and costs $99.99.
The release date announcement coincides with the second big Early Access update. This update includes a new level, new enemy type, a new item, a new gun, and a variety of other tweaks and features.
