Bandai Namco has announced that worldwide shipments for Pokken Tournament have topped one million units.
This new milestone is for the Wii U version, which launched worldwide in March of this year.
The game has been available in Japanese arcades since the summer of 2015, and has seen new content and updates released to both platforms.

August 18, 2016 at 11:23 amI swear it had hit a million sales around launch date. It had outsold SFV relatively quickly, didn’t it?

August 18, 2016 at 11:50 amSFV also sold like a diaper. I guess this doesn’t include digital sales?

August 18, 2016 at 2:17 pmIt’s difficult to judge digital sales since the companies don’t release hard numbers.
Point is, for a spin-off fighting game like Pokken to punch around Street Fighter’s numbers is insane.
SF 5 has still outsold it though as they’re sitting at 1.4 mil, while pokken has shipped 1 mil.

August 18, 2016 at 9:11 pmPokken deserves the sales for being an awesome game, and here’s hoping it either spawns a more complete roster for the next game, or DLC packs for more characters (yeah, I know how it sounds like).
