Blizzard Entertainment has announced the release window for World of Warcraft Classic.
The vanilla-era version of their long-running MMORPG will launch sometime next summer – news confirmed at this year’s BlizzCon.
What’s more, Blizzard confirmed World of Warcraft Classic will be included with every regular subscription to the game. Details on the classic version of the MMO are still a bit scant, however, we do know it’s based on the 1.12 build of the game. This means it’s based on the last major patch the game received before its first expansion, The Burning Crusade.
If you’re at this year’s BlizzCon, World of Warcraft Classic is playable on the showfloor – as well as at home to purchasers of the BlizzCon Virtual Ticket.
