World of Warcraft reveals battle pass-like system the “Trading Post”

World of Warcraft Trading Post

Blizzard has announced that they will be adding a battle pass-like system called the “Trading Post” to World of Warcraft.

In the new trailer, the Trading Post is billed as “a new way to earn rewards”. The trailer then shows some of the cosmetics like pets, transmog items, and even mounts that will be available.

World of Warcraft players will be given tasks that reward a special token called “Trader’s Tender” for the Trading Post, which can be exchanged for these items.

These tasks are little mini-objectives that could be as mundane as “do 30 quests” or specific and light-hearted like blowing a kiss to Alexstrasza.

The trailer shows a little bar that fills up when the player earns tokens, and ultimately caps out with a monthly reward.

You can check out the trailer below.

The World of Warcraft Trading Post is set to launch on February 1.

World of Warcraft is available to play on PC. The latest expansion Dragonflight released late last year.
