Sekai Project not-so-recently got their hands on Isuna Hasekura’s WORLD END ECONOMiCA. Like his previous work Spice and Wolf, the story has a strong focus on economics. If follows a young boy who makes his living by trading stocks on the moon. When he finds himself invited to take part in a large trading competition, circumstances have him take part not for himself, but for someone else.
While the story is initially slow, it picks up and the pseudo-economics are exciting and enthralling, even if you know nothing about economics yourself. Either way, this is one exciting novel.
The video at the top of the page is the opening for the first chapter. The first chapter has been released on Greenlight on Steam, as well as MangaGamer. The three chapters as a whole were recently KickStarted by Sekai Project. While there isn’t an official date for their completion, Sekai Project is known for its efficiency.
NicheGamer has a copy of chapter one, and we’re working on reviewing it, so expect that up soon. [Ed: it’s up.] Until then, I don’t want to discuss too much about the game, but I can assure you that the story is phenomenal.
