Witness the Gory Results of Killing Floor 2’s M.E.A.T. System

Tripwire Interactive have revealed a developer diary for their upcoming Killing Floor sequel.

Featured above, the new developer diary is all about the gore, and the game’s completely over the top violence. Central to the sequel is a new gore system hilariously dubbed the M.E.A.T. system, which is also known as the Massive Evisceration And Trauma system. With the M.E.A.T. system, players are enabled to not just kill their enemies, they can also dismember them completely and paint the environments with their blood and viscera.

It’s worth noting that enemy models are now made up of 22 different points that can all be dismembered, compared to the original game’s paltry five spots. The developers have also made a point of mentioning their focus on three core pillars to the game’s mechanics: bullets, blades, and of course – blood.

Killing Floor is currently in development for Windows PC.
