Tecmo Koei has published the first episode of their developer diaries for Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z.

The first dev diary is called “Bloody Beginnings,” and it features the developers from Team Ninja, Comcept, and Spark Unlimited – each staff member expressing their thoughts regarding the collaboration between three teams. They also talk about the strengths of each team, and how collectively they helped create a game that embraces both Japanese and Western styles.

Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z is set for release across Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PC on February 28th in Europe and March 4th in North America.
