Indie developer Windrose Crew has announced a release date for Windrose, their ambitious new Age of Piracy survival adventure game.

After 1,500,000 wishlists, Windrose is finally is set to launch next week for Windows PC (via Steam) on April 14th, and will be an early access title. Windrose is expected to remain in early access for 1.5 to 2.5 years to hit full release.

The current state of the game’s early access version includes the full playable core survival adventure loop, with optional co-op. The main story will take around 50-70 hours to complete, but this varies based on playstyle. The early access version includes 3 biomes each with their own main story and sidequests, crafting recipes, 3 playable ships, naval combat, a full building system, and more.
