Nintendo has confirmed that the fledgling Wii U console will be getting a price drop – from $349.99 to $299.99 starting September 20th.
This price drop will also come alongside a Wii U bundle that was also confirmed today, complete with Zelda: Wind Waker HD, for $299.99.
The Wind Waker bundle will come with a black Wii U console, a gamepad controller emblazoned with gold lettering, a gold Hyrule crest and gold symbols from the game. It also comes with a digital version of the Hyrule Historia and a code for the digital version of Wind Waker HD.
The bundle will be hitting Europe on October 4th and will include a boxed copy of the game, a double sided title sheet with artwork from the series and a Ganondorf figurine.
The full digital release of Wind Waker HD will launch on September 2oth in the Americas alongside the retail release in Europe that comes on October 4th. If you want to go to GameStop, you can opt to purchase a $54 version that also includes the Ganondorf figurine.
