PQube sent us the Collector’s Edition of the noir mystery visual novel and otome dating sim BUSTAFELLOWS, so we unboxed it!
As previously reported, the game’s story is focused on a young freelance journalist, driven to help others after the death of her brother. She gains the ability to mysteriously travel back in time for a short while by controlling another person. After seeing the death of a corrupt lawyer, she nonetheless tries to save him though this ability.
She soon finds herself unraveling mysteries, and meeting five equally mysterious men. While each seem to be suspicious, they all have their own ways of seeing justice wins out.
Across 80 hours of gameplay; players can unlock side stories with each of the guys, and multiple endings. The game also features cameos from characters from Side Kicks!, another otome dating sim.
PQube were kind enough to send us the BUSTAFELLOWS Collector’s Edition. Exclusive to Funstock, the Collector’s Edition includes either the Steam Key or physical Nintendo Switch game, and the “New Sieg People Magazine” with original sketches, unique art and character profiles, and glipses at the game’s development.
It also contains Scarecrow’s Mixtape CD of 27 tracks from the game, and six art cards. The Collector’s Edition is available for $73.30 USD (£54.99 GBP), and begins shipping January 2022. The limited edition will be limited to only 500 runs.
