“I love deadlines. I love the whooshing noise they make as they go by,” Douglas Adams wrote in The Salmon of Doubt.
No doubt he would empathize with Ghostlight, who have been porting Way of the Samurai 4 to the PC, and were meant to have the game ready to launch last month.
In a blog post toward the end of January, Ghostlight stated that the release of the PC port of Way of the Samurai 4 had to be delayed.
This is due to a number of complex technical issues that we‘ve encountered during the last stages of the porting process, slowing our progress on the game quite considerably. On the positive side, we’re slowly but surely winning the battle-against-the-bugs but it does mean that we’re now currently aiming to release the game in February.
On the upside, you can see screenshots of the PC version of the game below. (The image above is from Way of the Samurai 3.)
When it does launch, the PC port of the game will be available for Windows PCs via Steam. This will be the first ever Way of the Samurai game to grace the PC.
