Watch Witcher 3’s Gwent Mini-Game Played For Real

One of the big surprises coming out of CD Projekt Red’s Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is that the mini-game they created for it, the collectible card game known as “Gwent”, has become outrageously popular. Having played the game myself I can attest to the game’s addictive nature and the Magic-the-Gathering-esque allure of it all…but apparently some folks have taken it seriously. So seriously, in fact, that they are dueling against in each other in real life. Next to the Collector’s Edition statue too. You can watch the accompanying video to see how it’s done:

Some are asking for CDPR to make a mobile version of the game as a standalone product. I would definitely add my voice to those who’d buy such a thing.
