We’ve known that Tales of Zestiria is filled to the brim with dragons, perhaps more of the winged beasts than even Skyrim. Alright, maybe not quite that many dragons, but still, they’re in the game and special attention has been paid to their addition.

Featured above, we’ve gotten a look at how the wyverns are when you encounter them in battle, courtesy of a Nico Nico broadcast for the game. According to series producer Hideo Baba, dragons will play a pivotal role in the core story for Tales of Zestiria.

Tales of Zestiria is coming to Japan on January 22nd, 2015, with a western release to follow by next summer.
