After the unfortunate delay of Ubisoft’s highly lauded vigilante sandbox Watch Dogs, the developer has gone very quiet regarding when to expect the title to finally come out.
The simultaneous development between PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Wii U and PC is naturally a very ambitious task, but it seems that European retailer Shopto may know something that we don’t. Shopto listed Watch Dogs on their website with a release date of March 21st across all platforms, as you can see here, and here.
Normally we’d chalk this up to just being a retailer setting a new placeholder, but it seems Shopto is guaranteeing a delivery of the March 21st date, even going so far as to offer £5 if the game doesn’t meet that delivery date.
March tends to be a very busy month for new game releases, so it makes sense to see Watch Dogs get a release around that time. Naturally, Ubisoft is mum on the topic but stay tuned, we’ll keep you guys updated.
