Warhammer Skulls 2022 event set for June 2022, includes World of Tanks crossover

Warhammer Skulls 2022

Games Workshop has announced the Warhammer Skulls 2022 event will be returning again this June.

Running from June 1st through the 8th, Warhammer Skulls 2022 is the latest in the annual celebration of all things Warhammer in the video game world, with 2022 being the 6th year for the festival.

The event traditionally included huge sales on Steam for basically every Warhammer PC game still being sold, and has since expanded to GOG and the Epic Games Store. Games Workshop and developers also use Warhammer Skulls 2022 as an excuse to release new content for existing games, run special crossover events, release trailers for upcoming games, and announce new titles.

One of the crossover events this year is with the popular multiplayer game, World of Tanks. The Battle Pass Season VIII will include a special event where players can play through story missions as the Ultramarines, Death Guard, and Evil Sunz in a scenario to capture a newly rediscovered STC for their faction of choice.

Rewards for the Warhammer Skulls 2022 event include the premium Tier IX Cobra medium tank, as well as 40k-themed skins for the Object 430U, Panzerkampfwagen E-100, and the STB-1.

You can find a trailer for the Season VIII Battle Pass below.

Warhammer fans who aren’t into World of Tanks have plenty to look forward to as well. Besides the sales, there will also be news and updates for various Warhammer games.

Players can expect news for games including titles like Total War: Warhammer III, Warhammer: Vermintide 2, and Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector. There will also be new trailers and reveals for the upcoming games Warhammer 40,000: Darktide and Space Marine 2.

Warhammer Skulls 2022 will kick off June 1st at 6pm BST with a livestreamed showcase on the official Warhammer Twitch channel.
