Warhammer 40K: Darktide is delayed to November, beta tests announced

Darktide

Publisher and developer Fatshark announced Warhammer 40,000: Darktide will be delayed slightly until this November, forgoing its previous September release.

In a new update, Fatshark CEO & Co-Founder, Martin Wahlund let fans know that the PC (via Steam and the Microsoft Store) launch has been delayed until November 30, with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S version coming shortly after.

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide was first announced in July 2020 at the Xbox showcase event. It was originally planned for a 2021 release date, but difficulties resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic forced the studio to push the release date back.

As the release date comes closer, it seems that the team needs a few more weeks to iron out the kinks in the game before players get their hands on it – so they’re hosting some beta tests.

Are you excited? Which character appeals to you the most? Me? I’m going to be an Ogryn main all the way. You can sign up for the beta tests here – let’s purge some heretics!
