Focus Home Interactive have announced Saber Interactive’s Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 during The Game Awards 2021.
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is in development for Windows PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
This surprise announcement is a follow-up to the cult hit 40k third-person shooter from 2011, originally by THQ and Relic Entertainment. Details are very scarce, though the teaser trailer confirms that Captain Titus of the Ultramarines is back, and you will be fighting huge hordes of Tyranids this time around.
However, Captain Titus has now been upgraded to a Primaris Space Marine and wears the colors of a Lieutenant. This indicates that either he was demoted and later passed the Primaris Rubicon following the cliffhanger ending of the original game, or its actually a reboot instead of a direct sequel. You can find the teaser trailer below.
