Black Lab Games have announced that Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector adds Necrons in the first post-release faction DLC for their turn-based tactics game.
The mysterious and ancient Necrons will be the first new faction added to the game, and will consist of 14 units with lots of unique mechanics. Reanimation Protocols will allow your warriors made of Living Metal to rise from the dead, and they will have their own take on the game’s Momentum mechanic like the other two factions do.
While Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector adds Necrons as a hefty paid DLC pack, the game will be getting a hefty free update as well. This update will add a conquest-style single player campaign, where players can control the Blood Angels, Tyranids, or Necrons as they conquer territory and wipe the rival factions from the map.
