Lavos, the dark alchemist, is one of the Warframes locked behind Deimos, and with some persistence you can acquire him.
Lavos is locked behind Rank 3 reputation with the Entrati family, and his parts, alongside the main blueprint, can be purchased from Father.
The price of his parts and blueprint totals 20,000 standing, which alongside the reputation grind may require 4-5 days of your time, depending on your Mastery Rank.
Farming reputation with the Entrati can be done in multiple ways, as Deimos has a plethora of activities to complete.
Each member of the family is associated with a certain activity, and will reward you tokens for completing it. Father trades his tokens for resources you can find around in the open world, while Daughter trades her tokens for fish parts.
The most efficient way, however, is to do Mother’s Steel Path bounties, which grant you 150 tokens per run. Completing the bounty twice is enough to fill in your reputation for the day with the Entrati easily.
It’s worth noting that Lavos’ components require Trapezium Xenorhast and Cabochon Embolos, which are also locked behind your progress with the Entrati family.
Players are required to have a mining drill and 16,000 extra reputation at Rank 3 with the Entrati to purchase the mining blueprints from Otak, which may add an extra day to your grind.
Some Nitain Extract is also necessary to build his Chassis, which can be easily acquired by progressing through the Nightwave rewards.
Lavos is a complex Warframe to play, and despite seeming weak at first, his potential even in Steel Path is massive.
Having access to every elemental combination is a huge deal, and he can get some crazy chain reactions going with the proper setup.
Lavos benefits a lot from the Mech companion mod set, which allows him to spread elements to all enemies nearby by killing marked targets, making him a force to be reckoned with.
Warframe is available on Microsoft Windows (Through Steam), PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
