    Welcome back to Waifu Wednesday, Niche Gamer’s column where we talk about characters, their appeal, and a little on their history.

    This week’s waifu is P from MOTORSLICE!

    You can call it recency bias if you want, but honestly we just love seeing a developer who’s so unapologetic about fanservice. Throughout MOTORSLICE you interact with P, taking the role of her camera/companion Orbie. As a result, P will react to not just the cutscenes where you can choose dialogue, but also where you look at her.

    Try and look too closely at her butt? You’ll get smacked. If you click on her chest too much in the title screen, she’ll shut you off.

     

    P is basically a tsundere for the modern indie gamer. She’s cute, she’s a tomboy, she can be a bit playful and teasing but she hides it beneath stoicism. Also she has a chainsaw.

    It’s this contrast that makes her so adorable, she pouts, she huffs, but she’s also a prideful badass, or at least that’s how she comes across sometimes.
