VVVVVV is a game all about avoiding spikes via altering gravity, and it’s quite awesome.

Now, Nicalis has announced that it is bringing the game to Playstation Vita.

In VVVVVV, you play as the cheerful looking Captain Viridian – despite the fact that you will die, a lot. You, your ship and your crew are all stranded in an alternate dimension that is in the process of imploding upon itself.

Your crew is missing and thus the goal of the game is to find them and ultimately save the dimension from imploding. Level progression is a mix of platforming and abusing your new gravity altering abilities.

A release date for the Vita port of VVVVVV has not been confirmed.
