Nippon Ichi Software have announced Void Terrarium Plus, an enhanced version of Void Terrarium with additional features.
The news comes via Ryokutya2089 (translation: DeepL), a blog dedicated to sharing gaming news from physical print media in Japan. They report the game will be coming soon to PlayStation 5, and DLC for the original platforms (Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4) will launch the same day as the game.
Void Terrarium Plus introduces new elements such as being able to dress up the girl you are protecting, and a new disease. The blog also mentions “I would like to think that there will be other elements unique to the PS5 version, as well as a free update from the PS4 version,” though this seems to be more of a hope on the writer’s part.
As previously reported, Void Terrarium (also known as void tRrLM(); //Void Terrarium) focuses around a robot attempting to protect a young girl within a terrarium. The rest of the world is covered in poisonous miasma, leaving the robot to gather food and resources, while fighting off hostile robots and mutants.

In a world contaminated with toxic fungi, a discarded maintenance robot finds a girl named Toriko on the brink of death among the discarded junk in a scrapyard. After nursing her back to health, it is revealed that she may very well be the last remaining human, and is highly vulnerable to the deadly conditions of the outside world. To ensure her survival, the robot and his newfound friend, a decommissioned AI known as factoryAI, creates a refuge for her within a terrarium. To reinforce the terrarium as well as Toriko’s poor health, the lone robot must venture into the wasteland to gather resources while battling the vagrant machines and mutated creatures that roam there.
