A new rating has been spotted in Korea for Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown, a potential new title in the series.

The new rating (via Games Jouhou) points to the new version of the latest in Sega’s fighting game franchise – to be clear Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown hasn’t been announced yet.

The rating includes the description “Virtua Fighter esports”, leading us to believe this is the same title Sega was teasing up as their “Virtua Fighter x eSports” project back in September of last year. You can read more about that in our previous report.

Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown was the most recent version of Virtua Fighter 5, and was released for Xbox 360 and PS3 back in 2012 via their respective digital stores. The game has been playable in most of the Yakuza games like Yakuza 6: The Song of Life, Judgment, and Yakuza: Like a Dragon.
