YouTuber Videogamedunkey previously announced a publishing company as he was “tired of sitting on the sidelines.” So, he created a video game publishing company called Bigmode.

“I’ve been on YouTube for 11 years now, and one of the core themes of my channel has always been to slam dunk soulless cash grabs into the garbage can,” Videogamedunkey said on his new company.

The popular video creator said the goal is to “lift up and praise the truly inspired works of art in this medium.”

Now after just a few months since this announcement, they have announced the first game they’re publishing. It’s called Animal Well, which had already been announced through PlayStation nearly a year ago.

The game aims to be a dark metroidvania and is set to launch on PlayStation 5 and PC (via Steam) sometime in the future.

With the backing of Dunkey, who has over 7 million subscribers on YouTube, Animal Well will most certainly have a lot of eyes on its product now.
