It seems that Sony Computer Entertainment America president and CEO Shawn Layden wasn’t simply poking fun at his past at the company when he dropped the name Vib Ribbon at E3 this year, as the company has announced that the PSone classic is heading to PS3 and PS Vita tomorrow.

Tomorrow’s release marks the first time Vib Ribbon is going to be available in North America, following its European and Japanese debut all those years ago. To be clear, the PSN release for Vib Ribbon is for both North America and Europe.

Layden did promise in the PlayStation Blog post that Sony is “still working on a way to make it available on PS4.” One of the cooler features, which is building a unique level based on an audio CD of your choosing, is coming to the Playstation 3 version.
