Publisher Koei Tecmo and developer Team Ninja shared new details and screenshots for Venus Vacation PRISM: Dead or Alive Xtreme.
The new details and screenshots for the first dating sim in the Dead or Alive franchise showcase the various ways the player can bond with the ladies with mini-games and more.
Here’s a rundown on the new details:
1. Build special relationships with the girls in the story!
Get closer to the girls by progressing through the story! Interest changes by the choices you make during conversations with the girls!
Training with the girls!?
In some episodes, you can enjoy minigames. Here’s a brief introduction to some of them.
Hand Sumo – By quickly pressing the buttons that appear on the screen, you can throw the girl off balance. When the match is decided, someone might even “accidentally” topple over!?!
Water Fight – You can choose two girls and splash water on each other at the beach. By aiming water at the girls, parts of their outfits will become wet, allowing you to enjoy a “see-through” expression. Additionally, the progression of the episode may change depending on which girl gets splashed more…
2. Capture special charms of the girls in photos!
Take photos anytime in the episode! Aim your camera, and the girls might look back at the camera! Also, you can freely adjust angles and compositions to your liking.

Up to 3 additional point lights can be installed! Find the best lighting to make the girls shine in allure.

When wet, the skin and fabric of the clothing change in real time. Don’t miss those magical moments, such as when their skin is wet and the fabric becomes translucent – take your best shot!
3. Acquire fans by submitting photos of the girls!
Obtain more fans by submitting the photos of the girls to the Office! As the Venus Festival gains momentum and attention, it will get easier to attract more fans!
4. Get new outfits by getting more fans!
Look back at the episode with new outfits
No need for “gacha” or “gifts” like past titles from the series to unlock new outfits! Obtain outfits simply by obtaining more fans and meeting certain conditions!

Venus Vacation PRISM: Dead or Alive Xtreme is set to launch on March 6th, 2025 for Windows PC (via Steam and DMM Games), PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. The game will support Japanese and English languages. It’s worth noting a multi-language physical release for PS4 and PS5 is available to pre-order via our friends at Play-Asia.
