Sega has published their lineup of games coming to this year’s Tokyo Game Show, however, we’ve learned (via Games Talk) they might have two unannounced games up their sleeve.
The first game is potentially the newest game from Vanillaware, which the developer is co-producing with Atlus (who are owned by Sega now). The website’s source code lists the game “Thirteen Mecha Soldier Defense Zone,” for both Playstation 4 and PS Vita.
Games Talk points out this game shares the same name with a 2013 New Year’s greeting card (which Vanillaware sends out every year), the artwork for said greeting card is published in this article’s header. This greeting card shares the same title with the name in the website’s source code, 十三機兵防衛圏.
While we first got a teaser for this game back in July, details are scant, if this turns out to be Vanillaware’s new game, expect at least a sizeable dose of mecha action.
Finally, a second game named “Lexus” was found on Sega’s Tokyo Game Show website. While there is really nothing to corroborate with this name, we do know the Yakuza Studio is working on something new, and it’s definitely not Yakuza.
It’s also worth mentioning that Sega quickly took down their Tokyo Game Show website, and have since reuploaded it with its entire source code scraped of all the previously found information.
This year’s Tokyo Game Show runs from September 17th to the 20th.
