Atlus and SNK Corporation have confirmed yet another new character for The King of Fighters XIV.

The deadly yet discreet Vanessa will return in the game as a post-launch downloadable content addition. Featured above, you can view the reveal trailer for the housewife-turned-mercenary.

Her first appearance in the series occurred in The King of Fighters ’99 Evolution, as a striker. She first became playable in The King of Fighters 2000 as a member of the Hero Team.

Vanessa was originally  just a normal housewife who secretly became a mercenary agent for commander Ling. Alongside her fellow agent Seth, they’re tasked with joining the King of Fighters tournament, held by Ling himself

In case you missed it, other post-launch DLC characters to be confirmed include Whip and Ryuji Yamazaki, making Vanessa the final teased character to be added to the game.
