Vampire Survivors announced their upcoming “Whiteout” update would release this Thursday.

In a cheeky tweet, the official account posted: “Feeling cute, might release a free update on Thursday.” Of course further clarification was added that “We are releasing a free update this Thursday, it’s called Whiteout, details below.”

The Whiteout update for Vampire Survivors was first announced back in September. You can check out the trailer below:

Vampire Survivors took gaming by storm after it was popularized due to its low price, creative gameplay, and a little help from hololive streamers. As a “reverse bullet hell”, players collect upgrades while automatically firing attacks. The idea is that you’re the source of the crazy bullets and you have to keep enemies from reaching you or otherwise hitting you with attacks.

Vampire Survivors has been available for Windows PC (via Steam), Xbox consoles, both Xbox and PC Game Pass, and smartphones.
